Guppies: |
|||||
| The guppy is a very common live-bearer that adds colour and interest to most aquariums. Because of their small size they can be well cared for in the small aquarium, but caution needs to be taken because they are prolific breeders, and can often create problems with overstocking through this. | |||||
| There are too many colour variations to list, and the finnage ranges from small half-moon shaped tail with a flowing dorsel to large flowing tails and long dorsel fins. If putting guppies into community tanks, take care that you do not have a Siamese Fighting Fish male in there, as the guppy can be mistaken for competition by them! | |||||
